Cabaret for Kids is an on-stage production featuring songs, poems and skits by Joe Thompson as a celebration of childhood and imagination. The humor is a mixture of Shel Silverstein, Mad magazine and Prairie Home Companion.

Cabaret for Kids 2003 ran at Colonial Players August 1 - 9. It was a great success. This year featured a version of Puss in Boots, and the League of uselessly powered Superheros. And of course, The Main Street Pirates. Several new cast members debuted this year. Including Jenna Parise, and Veronica Matricardi.

When Laurie Berman waltzed her new born son Max around the stage during Song about the Moon, there was some debate if he was the youngest member ever. After all, Julie Fox was pregnant with twins during the show two years ago.

Here are a few pictures of this years show.
